From the first checks to major service. Every interval opens a working checklist.

K2892-7121-3 operator manual, original BX23S. North American fluid guidance; normal mineral-diesel schedule. Biodiesel and severe conditions need additional or shorter intervals.
Every 2,000 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first: Flush cooling system and replace coolant.
Every 4 years: Have scheduled radiator, steering, fuel, intake and breather hoses replaced. Hose part numbers depend on serial and configuration; obtain a dealer list.
At a numbered milestone, include recurring tasks whose intervals divide evenly into that hour reading. For example, 400 hours includes the 200-hour tasks. First 50-hour work is separate from repeating 50-hour work.
Time limits run independently of the hour meter. A 12-month or 200-hour limit means whichever comes first. This is a milestone planner, not an overdue-service calculation: it does not know your last service.
Dust, prolonged low-speed use and fuel selection may shorten intervals. For B6–B20 biodiesel, the manual specifies more frequent fuel-filter attention; use its biodiesel section (pp. 117–118).
